We are proud to announce that as of recently the cogs of the small press studio have been whirring back into action to produce a variety of lovingly hand printed products, the first of which for the New Year is an offering from French artist Emmanuel Kerner.

Kerner has been producing some of the most colourful and original work on the French children’s publishing and editorial illustration scene for a number of years, earning him, amongst other things teaching positions at Parsons Paris and the prestigious Atelier de Sèvres (also in Paris). He has worked for clients such as the International Herald Tribune, The Wall Street Journal, Le Monde, and produced a number of books for Albin Michel Jeunesse, in our opinion one of the best and most innovative children’s publishers in the world (they were also responsible for publishing, for example, Gens by Blexbolex).

For us he has created the rich and colourful concertina ‘Battlefield’ which betrays its name for its sheer beauty and vibrancy. It was printed using four colours in an edition of just 50 copies. He’s a popular artist, don’t miss your chance to own an original print concertina.
